Sukhayl Niyazov

I am an independent author and researcher currently studying Political Science at HSE University (2021-2025). Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, I spent most of my life in Athens, Greece, and studied for one semester at the University of Edinburgh, UK. I currently reside in Moscow. 

At HSE, I work on the issues of foresight and STI policy at the Foresight Center of the Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge. My official page is available here.

In my articles, I have covered a wide range of topics, but my main focus is on philosophy, politics, and technology. I published over seventy articles and essays, including The National Interest, Towards Data Science, City Journal, Foundation for Economic Education, Public Discourse, Politikon (IAPSS Journal of Political Science), Global Policy Journal, etc., cited in leading journals, e.g. Columbia Science and Technology Law Review, Science & Technology Progress and Policy, Small Wars Journal.
